Martial Arts

Martial arts are a form of practices and traditions of training we learned from our forefather. It is passed down from generation to generations. We learn martial arts skills not only for self-defense but also for fitness, sport, self-cultivation, mental discipline, meditation and most of all self-confidence. There are so many different types of martial arts such as Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Chinese kung fu, Tai Chi, Kali escrima, Kendo, Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing etc.

Martial art is now widely known all over the world. There are so many martial art centers offering to take in new students to learn these skills. They start off by the color of their belt. It is a must to wear their Martial Arts uniforms and clothing when attending classes or else you are not allowed to enter the training room. Different countries have their own style of martial art. There are competition too where certain martial arts centers around the globe will gather together at one place to fight it out. There is where they can learn more on their mistakes and improve themselves. Normally, the sifu or gurus will correct or pin- point where they go wrong. When a person start learning these martial art skills, injury tends to happens. We must protect ourselves at all times using protective gears.
